Blue-eyed sisters

Lucy can read all by herself! Curious George goes fishing was the first book she read all the way through! Then she got a gluten-free brownie.
On the weekend while we were cooking pizzas Henry went inside and found a pencil sharpener that Lucy had left on the floor. He sharpened his finger taking off half his nail. Lots of blood but he was tough. It looks very sore.
Henry words:
morling = morning
nunu = new
lamb thoms = lamberton thoms
lucyrosethoms = lucy
ever! (he learnt this from Lucy when she shouts at him ‘never ever touch my things’)

Henry does not like napping. Never has and probably never will. When he gets tired he just seems to gain further energy and runs faster.
Naps have been going ok however until the past 2-3 weeks. He’s now refusing to nap and spends 2 hours playing/destroying his room.
He then ends up falling asleep around 3pm on the carpet (see above) and I have to wake him at 4:30pm.
He still needs a nap every day as he will fall asleep in the car easily and then I transfer him to bed for a 2 hour nap.
I need a nap by the time he’s done!
Henry says some very funny things at the moment.
Last week he went out for icecream. Before he went I asked him about what flavours he liked. Strawberry? yes. Blueberry? yes. Coconut? yes. So I asked he what flavour he was going to get. He said ‘meat!’
I asked him whether he wanted a pet dog. He said ‘no dog!’. Then, unprompted said ‘pool!’
We have pancakes for breakfast on Saturdays. Henry started calling them ‘tatanks’. Now we all call them tatanks.
He loves his little sister. However he can’t say ‘f’ yet so be calls her bissy instead of flissy (which is cool because bissy also means baby sissy). He has now started calling her Felicity which comes out as ‘Bissy Teeeee’.

Felicity can move! By rolling and wriggling she can get herself around a room. Nothing can be left out on the floor now. She can even get from the lounge room to the kitchen via the dining room.
She still doesn’t have any teeth but this fact hasn’t stopped her chewing EVERYTHING in sight. She even chews the side of her plastic baby bath.
Fliss loves her food. The other week she didn’t want to eat her broccoli so we mixed it with some banana and she ate it all up.
