Just a quick update this month but there are lots and lots of photos and movies for you to look at. The main themes of the month have been teething, Auntie Kat’s visit and signing. Lucy has been fairly up and down with her teething and only wants to cuddle her mum at 1am when she wakes up in pain. Apart from her teeth and another cold all is well with Lucinda.
- Lucy has had all 4 molars break through her gums. Some are still a little painful and there have been screams and tears! But still no pacifier.
Lucy’s favourite word is no. She says this a lot even when she means yes. No no no no no. And again no no no no no.
She stills loves dogs and even put her finger up Ahto’s nose the other day (he didn’t care)
She knows many body parts and has added teeth, tongue, toes and fingers. She also can blink when asked to (though this is a fairly drawn out process)
Another month, another cold
Lucy is signing a lot and progressed really fast. She can sign hat, eat, drink, sit, dog, light, ball, milk and cleanup. But her favourite sign is help.
Lucy gets her own bib out of the cupboard (or sometimes three or four) and then closes the door. She then brings the bib over for ‘help’ to put it on
Lucy loves her play phone and once said ‘hello’
Auntie Kat came to visit and played with Lucy and her toys and took too many photos
Lucy is enjoying the beach more and more. On the weekend she smashed down lots of sandcastles, buried her legs in the sand and went body surfing through the waves (with Dad’s help).
We put a swing up in the backyard and Lucy is enjoying it immensely. It is a good spot for a little afternoon snooze! We have also been getting the sprinkler and pool out to enjoy before the weather starts the change.
