First time in the high chair
Tue 13 Oct 2009
Henry is now big enough to sit in a highchair. It is kind of fun that he is now at table height instead of in his bouncer. However it does add another piece of bulky baby equipment to the the house for me to trip over.
An ebay find
You can’t buy these Hello Kitty ready beds anymore but I did track one down on ebay for $10. Lucy LOVES it! Unfrotunately it arrived a few hours too late for her sleep over at Miss Betsy’s but she’s ready for camping now.
Maybe I should buy her a new doll?

Lucy is praying for a baby sister. She is going to call her Cora.
3 months old
Tue 06 Oct 2009
Henry is 3 months old today (or 13 weeks and 1 day)! Here he is all dressed up for the wedding we attended on the weekend. Doesn’t he look cute in his sailboat vest!
From last week (12 weeks) Henry started sleeping through the night on a regular basis. He generally sleeps from 7:30pm until 10:30pm, feeds and then sleeps until 6am. Sometimes he wakes up at 4:30am but I am generally able to comfort him back to sleep without another feed. Although it is dark and way too early for me to be up at 6am I am very very thankful for his improved sleeping patterns. During the day he is still only taking one hour naps.
Henry is a very social boy. He loves to coo, talk and laugh with people and is very happy to be cuddled by a wide variety of people (with the exception of people with beards!) He loves to look at faces and is upset when he is on his own. Big sister Lucy is a great friend and a very interesting person to watch.
Henry spits up a lot! I don’t really remember this with Lucy but Henry gushes forth milk on a regular basis. This started a week or two ago and he now wears lots of bibs!
His hair is still brown and his eyes are a lighter blue than originally.
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, he is a gorgeous looking boy!
I like to ride my bicycle
Mon 05 Oct 2009
Lucy loves to ride her bicycle. When asked what she would most like to do in the whole world her answer is ‘to walk with my family around the neighbourhood’. What a lovely simple fun thing to do! We don’t do it very often but we did get out last week. For the first time we let Lucy ride her bike on the road. Our neighbourhood is very flat so the going was easy. Here she is in the photo wearing her silly fish sunglasses and drinking Perrier water. Note the purple bike, purple helmet (helmoot as Lucy says), purple knee guards and purple glasses.
