Angels
Ever since Lucy was an angel in the Christmas cantata at church she has been obsessed with playing nativity scenes. Here she dressed her babies up as angels. Note the detail she went to – halos, nose rings and and ear rings.
I like apple!
Henry started eating food this week. He tried rice cereal, carrot and sweet potato but didn’t like any of them. He shook his head around until the food fell out of his mouth. Finally he tried apple and decided that he would eat that! He’s been on apple for a few days so we’ll go back to rice cereal now that he’s learnt how to swallow. He’s nearly sitting up by himself.

Here are a few things to update you with:
- Henry is now sleeping from 7pm – 7am. He has started to take better naps as well.
- He is still breastfeeding but supplemented with formula. No solids yet. We are trying to hold out until Christmas but we’ll see.
- Henry is trying to crawl! He can lift his belly off the ground and and grunt his way an inch forward. [He also wants to walk and has awesome stability on his legs] He doesn’t like to sit still – he’d rather he standing or rolling.
- He is wearing size 0 (12 month sized) clothing and size 2-3 nappies
- He squeals when hungry but doesn’t really cry otherwise
- He laughs and giggles with abandon. Lucy and Henry have laughing competitions. He loves her SO much.
- He still loves bath time and is now trying to push himself out of the bath with his legs.
- He grunts a lot. Everyone thinks he is pooping but he just likes grunting. He doesn’t like being strapped in (car seat, high chair,bouncer) so he pushes and grunts trying to get out.
- His hair is brown on top but underneath a lot of blond hair is growing.
- He chews EVERYTHING and drools a lot. He spits up a lot too.
- He talks and coos with anyone and it is such a pleasant sound to hear.
